Thank You For Being Patient
On Tuesday, June 3rd the Washburn Public Library Board of Trustees moved to keep the library closed at this time as a safety precaution related to Covid -19 Coronavirus Disease. The Board of Trustees will address the issue again at the July 7th board meeting.
Sidewalk pickup is still available. Pickup is on the 3rd Street side of the building from 1:30 to 4:30 Monday through Friday. You can see what’s available at https://merlin.nwls.lib.wi.us/ You can either put a hold on an item using Merlin, or phone us at (715) 373-6172. For pickup you can phone us and say when you’re arriving and we will have the item waiting for you outside, or you can phone us when you get here and we will come right down.
The book drop will be open each day from 8 a.m. to 4: 30 p.m. for returns.
Inter-library loan delivery – the sharing of materials between libraries – will begin again the week of June 15th. If you had holds placed on items prior to shutdown these items should be available soon. We will phone you and let you know.
We sincerely appreciate the patience the community has shown the library staff during this difficult time, and we apologize for the inconvenience.
