After school information
School classes begin in Washburn on Monday, August 31st. At this time the Washburn Public Library isn’t open to the public. When the library does open it will most likely be to a limited number of people, possibly not every day, and masks will be required inside the building. We are aware that some families use the library as a safe place for their students to wait after school until an adult can arrive to pick them up. Currently that isn’t an option. We apologize for the inconvenience. Our Wi-Fi is on 24 hours a day for those wishing to tap into it for virtual learning. We have tables outside for students to sit at. Requests for materials can be phoned in or done on line. And as soon as it is safe, we will be trying to get back to as normal a routine at the library as possible.
